Log Data Collection
Visits to this website automatically generate general protocol data, often referred to as server logs. This data is typically pseudonymized, making it impossible to identify specific individuals. In many cases, this information is necessary for the technical operation and display of site content. Additionally, processing this data is essential for security measures, including managing access, input, transfer, and storage controls. Anonymous data collected in this way may also be used for statistical analysis and to improve services and technology. If any unauthorized use of the site is suspected, these logs may be reviewed and analyzed retrospectively.
The information collected generally includes details such as the website’s domain name, browser type and version, operating system, IP address, and timestamp of each visit. This logging process follows standard practices observed across other websites. Logs are stored for a maximum of seven days, and users do not have the option to request their deletion within this period.
What is Personal Data? What Data Do We Process?
“Personal Data” means any information suitable for identifying, directly or indirectly, a natural person, in this case you who are browsing the Site. In particular, the Personal Data processed through the Site are:
a. Navigation Data
The computer systems and software procedures used to operate the Site acquire, during their normal operation, some Personal Data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This is information that is not collected to be associated with identified interested parties, but which by their very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified. This category of data includes the IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users who connect to the Site, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the operating system and the user’s IT environment. These data are used for the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information on the use of the Site and to check its correct functioning, to identify anomalies and/or abuses, and are kept for the time strictly necessary to achieve the aforementioned purposes. The data could be used to ascertain responsibility in case of hypothetical computer crimes against the site or third parties.
b. Data Voluntarily Provided by You on the Site to Use Our Services
We directly collect your data (e.g., personal and identification data, contact data) in order to satisfy the requests made by you. In this regard, on the Site there are different forms, which are required to be filled in by the user, in order to be able to manage and follow up on the requests made by the user.
c. Special Categories of Personal Data
When using the “Careers” section of the Site, which includes the subsection for sending spontaneous CV applications, your Personal Data may be provided which fall under the special categories of Personal Data referred to in art. 9 of the Regulation, verbatim the “[…] data suitable for revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, or trade union membership, as well as genetic data, biometric data intended to uniquely identify a natural person, data relating to the health or sexual life or sexual orientation of the person”. We invite you not to publish such data unless strictly necessary. Indeed, we remind you that in the face of the transmission of special categories of Personal Data, but in the absence of a specific manifestation of consent to process such data (an eventuality that obviously allows you to send a curriculum vitae), we cannot be held responsible in any way, nor will we be able to receive disputes of any kind, since in this case the treatment will be however permitted as having as its object data manifestly made public by the interested party, in compliance with art. 9 (1) (e) of the Regulation. However, we specify the importance, as already indicated above – of giving your explicit consent to the processing of the special categories of Personal Data, should you decide to share such information.
We also inform you that, for the purposes of selection, we may analyze your professional social profiles made freely available on the Internet (e.g., LinkedIn).
