Designing Visual Systems for Models
March 18, 2024User Onboarding in the Fashion Industry
March 14, 2024Messaging for connecting with Models
The Models' app is designed to help users search for models based on specific criteria. Users can view their profiles and eventually get in touch with them
Profiles paradigms
Models are a cornerstone of the platform.
Agency & private profiles
During our UX research, we discovered that models are typically managed by agencies depending on their popularity. Based on this, we divided the models' profiles into two categories: Agency and Private.
Overview
Agency profiles
For models collaborating with the agency, their agent will oversee their profile, managing details such as availability and messages. The model's location will be chosen by the user, who can select it based on their preferences. The default location will be the one previously set by the user. However, it's possible for a model to work with multiple agencies in different locations
Private profiles
As for private profiles, models will manage their own contact form, accessible from a single verified location. Additionally, models have the option to request relocation if needed.
Request based
Wait for a response to continue the conversation.
Error messages
Unsent request are kept to be sent again.
Message Optimization
Users may find their inbox cluttered with multiple conversations involving various models from the same agency.
To address this, we'll group these conversations into one thread, offering users a dropdown menu to switch between them.
By default, the most recent conversation will be active, this approach aims to deliver a more streamlined and organized inbox experience for our full-time users.
